Dr. (Hon.) Jonathan L. Parapak, G.Eng.Sc.

Rector

Dr. (Hon.) Jonathan L. Parapak, M.Eng.Sc. is a graduate from the University of Tasmania, Commonwealth of australia, and was awarded an Honorary Doctor from Ouachita Baptist University. He has extensive experience in business and authorities services. He was the President, CEO, and Chairman of Indosat. Dr. Parapak served as a Secretary-General of the Department of Tourism, Post, Telecommunication; a fellow member of the National Quango of Inquiry. Joining UPH in 2001, he was then appointed equally the President and Rector of UPH in 2006.

Prof. Dr. Adrianus Mooy, Chiliad.Sc.

Senior Counselor

Prof. Mooy obtained his Md of Philosophy in Economics from the University of Wisconsin, Madison, Wisconsin (USA), and Thousand.Sc. in Economic science (Money and Banking) from the aforementioned Academy. He received his B.Sc. in Economics from Universitas Gadjah Mada, Yogyakarta (Republic of indonesia). He has extensive experience in many dissimilar areas including education as Lecturer by and large at the Universitas Republic of indonesia, Djakarta, where he obtained his full professorship in economics. He was also a fellow member of People Consultative Associates (MPR) and a fellow member of Government Committees responsible for the drafting of the Guidelines of State Policy (GBHN). He helped the Government in several capacities: every bit Deputy Chairman of National Evolution Planning Bureau (BAPPENAS) responsible for the formulation of a 5 Years Evolution Plans (REPELITA) particularly on macro-economical planning as well every bit fiscal, monetary, and residual of payments planning. Ir. Budhi T. Yuwono, M.M., Thousand.Pd.

Senior Assistant to Rector

He received his bachelor'due south degree in Electric Engineering from Trisakti University, Primary of Management degree from Universitas Republic of indonesia, and Primary of Education degree from Universitas Pelita Harapan. He has been working with Yayasan Pendidikan Pelita Harapan (YPPH) since 1993 for school development, especially in remote areas. He is also working for UPH in the area of networking and scholarship. Before joining YPPH, he worked for IBM for 8 years in several positions in marketing.

Christine 50. Sommers, Ph.D, RN, CNE

VP i - Chief Academic Officer (Provost) & Executive Dean of Faculty of Nursing

Christine Sommers joined UPH in August 2012 as a lecturer at the Faculty of Nursing. She earned her bachelor's degree in nursing from Cedarville Academy in 1989, her chief'southward degree in nursing from the University of Washington in 1992, and her postmaster certificate in Nursing Didactics from Washington State University in 2010. She completed her Ph.D. in nursing from the University of Kansas in 2019. While completing her doctorate, she researched the all-time teaching practices for teaching culturally diverse nursing students. She has over 25 years of experience as an intensive intendance nurse and nurse educator. She is certified equally a nurse educator and is a CCRN Emeritus. She enjoys the opportunity to provide seminars to nurses and other healthcare providers in several countries and throughout Indonesia. She is committed to serving Christ through excellence in teaching and guiding others. She has a desire to make a difference wherever God puts her to serve Him.

Dr. Curtis Jay Taylor, Ph. D.

VP three - Chief Student Development Officer

In 2015, after visiting UPH ten times over a period of five years, Dr. Curtis Jay. Taylor moved to Indonesia with his family in guild to join the International Teachers Higher at Universitas Pelita Harapan as a teacher and the Director of Admissions. In this capacity, he has the privilege of recruiting qualified Christian students from effectually the world for the chief and secondary English teaching programs that the ITC offers. Prior to coming to Indonesia, Dr. Taylor served Dordt Higher in Iowa (Us) for 23 years in diverse authoritative roles, including Dean for Global Education, Special Assistant to the President, Vice President for Educatee Services, and Director of Residence Life. Over the course of his career in college education. Dr. Taylor has likewise held administrative roles at Iowa State University (USA), the University of Washington (USA), and Michigan State University (USA) and has served in leadership positions on numerous national boards related to higher didactics. Dr. Taylor has had the honor of speaking to groups in over 30 countries in North America and South America, Europe, Africa, Asia, and Commonwealth of australia on topics related to Christian didactics, US higher educational activity, leadership, and strategic planning. He has served as president of the Sioux Center Bedroom of Commerce, as vice president of the Sioux Center Christian School Board, and as a member of the Board of Directors of St. Luke’southward Higher in Sioux Metropolis. Dr. Taylor earned a bachelor's degree in psychology from Calvin College (USA), a master's degree in college and university administration from Michigan Land University (Us), and a Ph.D. in educational leadership and policy studies from Iowa State University (USA).

Danny Lee Lian Fey, BBA, MA

Danny Lee Lian Fey completed his first degree (Available of Business organization Administration) at the University of Oklahoma, Norman, and his postgraduate caste (MA in Marketing) at Northumbria University, Newcastle. He is currently pursuing his Ph.D. research studies in Customer Human relationship Management. Later on his first 5-year career in advertising and promotion, Danny decided for a modify and joined the private pedagogy manufacture in Malaysia. He has worked in diverse education organizations including INTI International Academy, Australian International School Malaysia, Rafflesia Education Group, SEGi University & Colleges, and Urban center University Malaysia. He has 27 years of experience in marketing and in didactics (tertiary and K-12 schoolhouse), with hands-on experience in strategic evolution as well every bit in operations.

Eric Jobiliong, Ph.D.

Dean of Faculty of Science and Engineering science

Eric Jobiliong, Ph.D. is the dean of the Faculty of Science and Applied science. He teaches Mechanics and Thermodynamics; Audio, Moving ridge, Electricity and Magnetism; Calculus one - 3; Linear Algebra; Financial Mathematics courses. His research interests include solid affair physics and laser spectroscopy. He got his Doctorate Degree in Law from Gadjah Mada University of Yogyakarta in 2010 with dissertation on "Moral Rights in the Copyright Law". He finished his study of Master of Laws (LL.K.) specialized in Intellectual Property Rights (IPR) from the University of London in 1993. Having been a legislative drafter in the Chiffonier Secretariat of Indonesia, this graduate of Constitutional Law of Diponegoro University of Semarang who was born in Solo in 1955 had been the Deputy of Administrative Affairs at the Vice President Office of Indonesia from 2005 to 2010. Previously, Henry headed the Bureau of Constabulary at the aforementioned institution. IPR has greatly concerned him in line with the development of the National IPR Organization also as his activeness as a lecturer at UPH and other universities and that in non-government organizations and professional organizations.
